A calm day, with a lot of new faces and a great deal of chess talent.
Thank
you to everyone who made the day such a pleasure:
especially Sandy, John, Michael, Kishan and Hyacinth
who kept everything running smoothly.

The day saw intense concentration but the girls also made some good friends. |
The girls that John Crawley brought from Nottinghamshire played exceptionally well, and I expect to see more champions from his clubs. |
