All England Girls Chess Championships

Eastern Region, 2nd October 2005

 

Another very successful All England event took place in Nottinghamn on the 2nd October. Thanks to the hard work of Sandy Lakhani, we were again able to use Bramcote Community College, which will also be the venue for the 2006 Gold Finals.

Thanks to all the competitors for making this such a fabulous event. Thanks to all the people who helped the tournament run so smoothly; Sandy Lakhani, Peter and Gill Turner, Ruth Sheldon, John Crawley and Mrs Messam-Sparks who provided everyone with food and drink throughout the day.
