Wickwar Results

The second girls' coaching and tournament event took place on the 6th March in the lovely village of Wickwar in Gloucestershire. I would like to thank Alexander Hosea school for providing us with such a fantastic venue and Peter McAfee for helping me organise this event.

Girls were organised into teams of 3 players. There were 5 rounds, 6 coaching sessions and a lunchtime quiz (which added to each player's score). Personal scores are out of 18 (3 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a win. 3 points were available from the lunchtime quiz). Team scores are out of 54.

The coaches did a marvelous job. Thanks to WIM Ruth Sheldon and WIM Heather Lang, who made the day a really enjoyable experience for all concerned.
